Established 2015 in Angry Archies, a family run business, was founded by Chef Chris Curado and his cousin Michael Ponte. Operating out of Jersey City, NJ, Angry Archies allows Chris, a current Jersey City resident, and Michael, who has had a family run business in Jersey City for over a half decade, to further expand their roots in their own community.
Chef Chris Curado started his career working under Executive Chef Thomas Ciszak at Copeland in Morristown. While working under him he ad the honor of assisting him at several James Beard events in NYC. He then took a year off to follow his dream and worked alongside a ** Michelin Star Chef in Italy. Upon his return, he was Chef De Cuisine at Chakra in
Paramus. Executive Chef at Esty Street, and General Manager at City Bistro in Hoboken. His culinary journey has brought Chris and his cousin Michael Ponte to open a food truck. Together they have set out to reinvent the signature dish of Pontes Restaurant called "The Angry Lobster" and started "Angry Archies" based out of Jersey City, NJ.
